Even at a drag strip, even with fancy tires, ET isn't going to drop much for an automatic. The 1950 rpm stall of the stock torque converter controls most of the launch behavior. Its how the clutch with slower shifting gets the edge that it does from much more aggressive launches.

Exactly... go read the tech spec manual guys and then learn about power requirements for improving times for drag racing AND road racing for that matter too... then lets talk some more. Auto S4's are listed at 6.5s 0-60.

it would be on the street with 255's on the back in the R&T book i have it claims 6.3 for the auto, i kinda figured it would be a little better with 300rwhp after the mods
