Hey Imre,

Hope all is well.
I did a lot of research, and used Quaker State Multi Vehicle Dex III Compatible this spring when I did the tranny service. 7,000 miles in and all is well. Available @ CTC too.
My father-in-law has been building engines for some 60 years now, and swears by Quaker State products.
Best,
Rob.

I put in the Canadian Tire house brand Dextron III (orange label) and added a can of BG conditioner. Shifts smooth and very firm.

I filled the tranny with Mobil 1 Synthetic when the service was done. A new filter, pan gasket and drain plug crush washers completed the project...........works very well.

Am also using Mobil 1 in the 85 and 86.
Kind of expensive, thats the only downside I've seen.
