If and when? Porsche ever builds a successor to the 928 legacy, it will have to have advanced technology, and most of all a cutting edge design. Just like our cars. It still blows me out how advanced our 928's are compaired to todays exotic brands. And our cars are still very comparable in every catagory; timeless styling, build quality, and speed. It also has to be fun to drive and own, just like our cars. Porsche has a built in market for this supercar, but the factory has big shoes to fill. Time will tell if Porsche is listening to thier customer base. We can only hope that they do. I feel this "mystery" car must not only equal the origional 928, it must carry on the heritage of the " KING of the AUTOBAHN." I hope that they'er up to the task. At $150,000.00 it should also keep the ultimate touring GT out of the hands of the masses. Just my 2 cents.

Here you can see some spy shots of the next gen Cayenne. Some people still think it's a new smaller model...
The new Cayenne is again based on the Touareg, which is said to become a hint smaller and significantly lighter.

Bleeeeck! That is almost as ugly as that M6 thing from BMW. A Porsche crossover is not needed or desired by anyone.

My wife went to run some errands this morning. She called me all excited cause she saw her 1st Panomera on the road near our home. We saw them at Daytona last month, but she said to see one right next to her 928 on the road was very cool.

A $350K Porsche with the performance of a $100K car from Bankrupt GM?
Maybe a $500K porsche would equal the performance of the ZR1......$150K aint gonna cut it.
This is really more of comment on how insane the ZR1 is than anything. It does afterall have an interior made of plastic.

I may be in the minority, but I hope VW / Audi kills the coupe idea.
Then again, having a coupe and killing the 4-door makes more sense. Audi already has enough flagship 4-door's to sell.
I don't care how awesome the new coupe is. Calling it a 928 would be a disservice to our cars.

I have no idea what the 2 door panamera will be called, but i assure you it wont be called 928.
