Spindles have abs things, does that make them S4?

Counting the teeth will tell you the spindles' year.

Which way are the caliper bolt holes facing? S4 caliper bolts thread inward towards the spindle where the non-S4 calipers bolt to the backside of the spindle. That should tell you pretty quickly.

No calipers, I'll get picts or write down the numbers tonight.
Not likely I count the abs things, but I might estimate them.
Its like a fine tooth gear, around 100 teeth, but could be 80 or 120 (from memory, will est closer when I look).

If its over 60, its not S4.
Always remember mike, with exception, over 60 teeth is S3 and below, and under is S4. Same for flywheels.

Here's the dope:
Pulse Gear Wheel
The number of teeth on the pulse gear wheel is changed from 90 to 45 for better signal reception
of the electronic control unit . The pulse gear wheels for the front axle are pressed on each on the
left and righ*wheel hubs, while for the rear axle one each pulse wheel is machined on the wheel
end of drive shafts .
