I hope this is a simple problem. 1980, L-jet. Starts fine but as soon as I put it in gear and apply lot's of gas it stalls. All vaccum hoses are new, dist cap & rotor, coil, fuel pump & filter. Air filter is off. Come-on fast Tony, what did I screw-up?

My '82 had a similar problem a few weeks ago. It turned out it was the fuel pump relay.

Make sure your AFM is properly mounted into the throttle body, hopefully in a new O-ring, to prevent air from bypassing the metering.
