I removed them and put them away. I will most likely replace them with new ones and maybe put the used ones on one of my other cars.

Did you paint there (ubnder them)? I think it will be a fitment issue if you do...

Are you talking about the seal that runs along the bottom of the door windows? Why would there be a fitment issue? They were painted at the factory as far as I know. Are you speaking from experience? Either way, I'm sure it will work out. I ain't skeert.

Fabio That is going to be so sweet when she is finished. You must be chomping at the bit to see the finished product! It's real close! Well worth the wait.

We will have to meet up and go for a drive when she is ready!

I almost converted this car to a widebody but I didn't have the money since I was saving for a wedding. Now I sort of regret not doing it but it will look great no matter what.

What is your home number????, I'm telling

Mark did both of mine !

Should have painted it red.

Seriously, that's going to look awesome. A respray is in my future, but need to find the right person. Lots 'o work there. Have fun putting it all back together.

I already have a red one. This one is Platinum Metalic. Putting it together is going to be alot of work I'd imagine. We'll see. I expect it to take awhile. Lets hope it goes smoothly.

Thanks, the roof was painted first then masked off.

Interesting...is there an advantage to doing it that way? Is the floor wet when applying paint? I have heard pros and cons to that practice.

I think I will start a new thread so this one doent get too side tracked....looking good. Im sure mine will not be as nice but better that whats there right now.

I'm assuming it is to eliminate the possibility of any overspray on the roof. This is a booth that we built and the airflow isn't as good as a pro-built booth. We will add a few more fans soon.
