Default texas tech session

John brought his GTS over for some transmission work. As we finished our first case of Miller Lite we broke out the big guns. Sean brought out his AR 15 and his over / under 12 guage. I brought the 12 guage pumps and the 10-22. Roger brought the 8 and 10 guage. OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Darien Nunn is a dead shot. He had a 3 inch grouping with my old 10-22 without an accurate scope

Roger is the man shooting an 8 guage 4 times without crying. Sean and I were in tears after two shots each.

Oh man, I didn't know we could shoot at your place, this changes everything!

Looks like I missed a good time, although I've got my work cut out for me getting my car ready for the Third Coast event, who all from the Dallas crew is coming down for this?

Brad,
I had a blast as I had never used a bow before.
The 8 gauge will be going home to the UK to join the double 4 gauge and the single 2 gauge.
A rare opportunity to shoot a big bore shotgun.
Roger

How's everybody's shoulder feeling right about now after turning that 8 gauge loose? I've never shot one, but I have touched off a few rounds of a 3-1/2" magnum 12 gauge load. It was certainly all I wanted. Glad y'all had so much fun.

MY SHOULDER HURTS.

Good Lord. That 8 gauge has one hell of a kick, but damn, I can say that I was able to shoot it off twice. I couldn't even pick up my 12ga after that. Wish I didn't have to leave so early. Man that was a freaking blast. I'll have a few boxes of 5.56 for the next time though.

I left the double 4 gauge back in the UK.
Here is a picture of my hunting buddy back in the UK with his single 2 gauge.

I'm more into classic bows, but I envy the possibility of doing target practice in the back yard. I can't do that, unless I want to shoot the neighbour's cat or something .

Roger, I don't mean to pry, but I'm not much of a hunter. What sort of game are you after with a 2/4 gauge shotgun?
