I'm going to have a perfect replica made from forged aluminum, and then have it anodized, to match my wheels.

I suppose neon lights aren't far behind in order to show your work?

I guess I should have left all the grease on the underside to absorb the heat, and just cleaned the outside to reflect? Note bent lip. No front piece. One bracket, long V, is that right? Can I just get a front piece?

Is the other 'V' still attached to the underside of the car? If not, you're missing one.

Missing one.... must have been the rattling racket I heard once, lasted a few seconds then quiet.

JG9, I have one slightly deformed 'V' bracket ... PM me if you need one.

If need be you can make a new bracket out of a piece of flat Al stock from Home Depot after you put your car back together and test it without the pans... and arrive home without it. Not that it's ever happened to me.
