I have an 80 5-speed open diff trans off a parts car that I've never driven, and 82k miles on it. What, about, is the value of this?

This is worth a lot to someone who has broken their transmission and can check it over before buying and and can pick it up. $500? $700?

This is worth very little to someone buying it sight-unseen and needs to have it shipped. $100?

If you have another 5spd then keep it. You never know what's going to happen.

It is either an 03 trans or an 05 the switch was mid 1980 neither is better just diffferent torque tube dimension. Odds are the syncros are already worn so it is a core gear box needing to be rebuilt....

The clutch, pedals (brake and clutch), master/slave, and the firewall where the clutch goes through, ie all the conversion parts can be worth more than the tranny especially in unknown condition.
