Porsche Manuals
I have seen a lot of good things about people on this forum. I see a lot of people with heart, regardless of whitefox and SoCal Girl. I am going to contribute a little to the group. Below is a link to a website that has all kinds of porsche manuals for different models that you can download free. I am not sure how old the manuals are or if they are any good to people. I just want to want to add something to the group. I hope everyone enjoys.

That link used to have a monthly bandwidth allowance, and files you get were images of old microfiches.
Jim Morehouse has a version on CD that is scanned and OCRed into text .pdf files that can be searched, as well as a second set on CD of many additional manuals and documents. Roger at 928srus.com can hook you up, or email Jim directly jim928@ptd.net for details on cost, well worth it.

i pulled the files about a month ago and they worked fine for me. I see people on eBay trying to sell CD's for 30 bucks a pop or the printed manuals for +$100 and don't think it is very fair. I was able to find them and download them for free. I have all the files in one folder and can use the hyperlinks inside the .pdf and it jumps to the approperite section fine.

If the files you have allow text to be selected, highlight a word for example, almost certainly the material was copied from the set of CDs Jim Morehouse created with many months of time and the cooperation of many others who sent in manuals for scanning. Regardless of where you got the files, you really should be paying the person who put in the time to make them possible.

I had bought a basic 928 WSM set on CD from ebay for $10 before I learned about Jim M.
since then I have bought a full set from Jim that includes more material than just the WSM. when communicating with Jim, he confirmed the set I got from ebay was his set.
I had also tried this link for the 84-89 911 manuals. finally got them to downloaded but could not open, kept getting ADOBE errors. so bougth a Bently. I never tried the 928WSM on this site, but would suspect it is Jim's too.
contact Jim. you won't be disappointed in what you get for the modest cost.
