Default 5.0L HYBRID AND EURO S GOODIES FOR SALE!!

Well I have finally decided to go with a full blown stroker from Carl. It's to be my winter project. I'm tired of local Auto X and DE days and want to play with the big boys. So the Hybrid is coming out. A stroker and roll cage are going in. I'm loosing the CIS as well, going with stand alone and an 84 Euro S intake. Keeping my big cams and having a set of heads being worked with bigger valves.

I think the sum of the parts may be worth more than the whole Engine so I'll list it both ways. Going on ebay tonight and the Rennlist for sale area. Engine is running VERY strong right now. I'm pulling the engine this weekend and expect to have it apart by next for shipping. ebay auctions will run through next Saturday. Prices here are below reserve so let me know before the auction ends if you want something. If any prices are out of line, please let me know, I tried to come in well under closed ebay auction prices but not everything could be researched easily.

Let me know if any of this peeks your interest:

Euro S heads - $400 for pair, in great shape. SOLD

Euro S cams (Stock Euro S cams not my regrinds) - $400 Come with boxes, lifters and '85 cam gears. SOLD

WUR Rebuilt and cleaned last 3 months $125 for 80-83 model, not sure if it will work for '78-79 model. Heat circuit on bimetallic strip is different. SOLD

MSD Billet 928 Distro w/Magnicore wires (Can't get from MSD..) $300 It's like buying the wires new and getting a free billet Distro. Distro has magnetic pickup for most accurate timing you can have on an early shark. Adjustable advance curves for fine tuning. SOLD

MSD 6AL ignition - $125 with rev limit and extra pills. Will throw in Accel HO coil as well. Hooks up to the distro with one wire. More power to the plugs. Great combo with the distro, magnicore and accel coil. SOLD

Stock Alternator - SOLD

81 Non S Throttle Body - $25 SOLD
85 Throttle Body - $35

Couple more pics showing the MSD and accel coil. Coil picture above with headers is not the one. Also showing the fly cut pistons in engine and out.

Thanks for looking!

I know! I have received many great deals from fellow Rennlisters, thought I'd return the favor. It's not about making money, just sustaining the habit, er.. I mean hobby.. This should get me enough to get the roll cage and maybe better seats. Anytime I buy stuff I feel like I'm taking from the family, even though I can afford it, but when I can sell stuff to get stuff it's guiltless.

Of course cashing in some of my stock options to get the stroker had a little guilt.. However my company has done very well this year and I wanted to unload some before the market catches up to us. BTW little tidbit.. My employer DollarTree had the best performing stock in the fortune 500 last year. While every one else tanked with the economic crisis we stayed strong. The way I see it, I worked hard and deserve a stroker track car.

Here's a couple more pics of the flywheel lock and TB tool, Door Skins and 85+81 TBs.

I didn't put one down for the whole thing. Feel free to shot an offer. However once one part is paid for I can no longer sell it as a whole.

I have some items paid for already so I can no longer sell the whole engine. Plus I think I like the idea of having another spare 5.0L block.

No problem. If you have some of the other parts I need, let me know.

P.S. Do you have the instructions for the cam belt tensioning tool? If yes, and if the belt is with square teeth, I'll take the tool and the belt.

Yes I have the timing belt tool instructions and the belt is square tooth. PM me your address for shipping rates, or figure yourself using my zip code of 36526 and figuring a small box at 5 pounds tops.

FYI. Ebay auctions start tomorrow around 4PM EST and go 7 days. I will cancel any auction for a Rennlister that pays the above prices or haggles me to the point of submission.
