It's always very sad to lose a member of this community. It's even more sad when it is for good. May he rest in peace.

This is really crappy news....! You could have knocked me over with a feather when I heard this.... John Ryall just sent me an e-mail and let me know.... He was here looking thru some of my pictures just a couple days ago, and he came across some of JP at SITH..... We'd been out of touch, and I was wondering if he still had his petroblau one.... He was a great guy, and I enjoyed being around him.... Yep, he's a 928 brother from way-way-back during P-list and P-fan days..... Happy Trails, JP Condolences to the family, and God Bless...

Default JP FUNERAL

FROM PAT, JP WIFE

~~~~~~`Just to let everyone that the funeral for J.P. will be at Krause funeral home on National next Saturday. If you log on to their website on Monday everything should be on there. If you choose to attend I would love for you to drive your 928 and there will be a gathering at the house afterward. Everyone please come. He would have loved that, all the 928s in his driveway.
Thanks so much for all of your emails . They mean a lot to me and Rindy.
Keep us in your thoughts and prayers.
Pat````````````
LET'S TRY TO GET AS MANY 928 WE CAN FOR JP.
Jeannie and I have been out of town for the weekend and this is not the news we wanted to come home to. I am speechless and this is hard to come to grips with.
J.P. is one of the "old 928 gang" from the Porsche Fans days and I have been proud to know him and call him a friend for well over a decade. I still remember clearly when he came down to our Sharks in the Harbor event in Atlanta and I finally got to meet him in person, and being surprised he made the drive down that far.
I now consider myself lucky that I got to talk with him and have a great conversation just a few weeks ago. Hard to accept that that was for the last time, way to sad to consider not talking to such a truly great guy again!
Our heartfelt condolences to J.P.'s family and friends, he will be missed but not forgotten.
Dave I still remember like yesterday when we met you and Jeannie with JP and his wife at the get together in Chicago in 1998. This is what the 928 did for us meeting great people.
We were just talking about that Chicago trip this morning and how much fun we had meeting all of you guys there. It has also been way too long since we have seen you and Agnes, pretty please try to make it down to Sharks in the Mountains this year. This is a sad reminder that you never know how much longer any of us will still be here to enjoy time with friends.
Wow, that does suck. I remember when he was our guest in DFW and he attended one of my garage parties. A true gentleman. Blessings to his family.
