I think this dealership belongs to Bret Smith, who I had worked with many years ago. Bret used to own a used Porsche car lot (late 70s early 80s), and is very knowledgeable about Porsche cars. Bret is a very honest guy, and wouldn't sell something at his dealership if it wasn't in excellent condition. My guess is that it would be worthwhile for a serious prospective buyer to drive up there and check the car out
The guys at that lot are Leitings, Doug is the name of the guy i spoke with and he has a brother.
They are bull****ters and the only reason i was interested was because of the price.
Personally, if they were asking $10,000 for it (not $16,000) I would still pass. The body had a number of issues, there were cracked wheels (never heard of this before, so assume the **** was driven out of it)
I imagine they will have that car for awhile
