Just my two cents. I pulled the dash and had multiple cracks from front (windshield leading edge) to rear with raised edges on both sides of each crack. I layer a few applications of gorilla glue into the cracks over the course of three days and let it set for a few more before taking a wide flat file and bringing it all down to original dash level. I'm having a 1/8 inch foam applied under color and pattern matched vinyl by a local upholsterer. The dash came back to one uniform surface with the gorilla glue bonding to the foam exposed by the cracks. It bonds very well and won't shrink.
