I know my spelling still stinks but I mean has any one ever had water drip near the center of the car just behind the fire wall area? which looks to be dripping off the cat.

The A/C condesate drain is there, and clear water leakage is normal during A/C or defroster usage.

Hi,

There could be a possibility that your heater valve is leaking and running down either the exhaust or some other part of the car. Then again, that may be ruled out because if the liquid is clear, it may not be coolant.

When was the last time you washed your car or had it sit out in the rain? You may be collecting water somewhere in the engine compartment and you are seeing run-off from it.

Does it also steadily drip when the engine is running?

I didn't know that. Then again, my A/C doesn't even work! Good to know when I get it working

I used the defroster this morning so maybe that is the issue.
I have seen this with the A/c but I did not think the defroster would also cause water to come out there.
I rains here in North Fla. alot so I would see it alot more if trapping water I would think.
I will watch this to see if it gets worse or does it when runing as well thanks. I haven't wqshed the car in a while thanks for the tip? I need to.

Forget my spelling it stinks? or I should proof read it before I send it. My spelling is good I just don't check it first.

It's pretty easy to tell if it's coolant or oil. Since you say it is odorless and colorless, it has to be A/C condensate and is perfectly normal, like Wally said.

The defrost automatically runs the A/C to dry the air.
