Mine reads full when I top it off. I cleaned the football-shaped sender behind it with sandpaper. I do know that below half a tank the needle gets twitchy. My fuel sender in the tank is bad after testing.

Mine will go 150 miles on the first half-tank, then only 50 on the second half. Must get faster as the weight goes down.
