'87 Manual Transmission LH vs Automatic Transmission LH
After running George's LH now in substitute for my brain dead one out of my car, I notice it's not running the same as it did with the original in there. It's running great actually. George had mentioned there is a difference in the 5-speed PROM compared to the Auto PROM and that the car would adjust itself. Looks like it did in a positive way.
What's the difference in fuel maps between these 2 LH's if any? Because right now, my car feels like it's having sex with the pavement, screaching, screaming and lots of noise.

1987.
Perhaps my car was so messed up because of the LH in the past 8 years of ownership, this is the first time I am feeling how a 928 should really drive.

As has been said, any S4 or GTS LH would run well in your car, with manual/auto settings set by the 8 pin code plug.
A GT LH would run OK-ish for a test, but idle speed would be 100rpm too high, with no auto speed drop when enganging gear, irrespective of the code plug setting.
As per your other thread, LH can fail in subtle ways, not always recognisable as a fault, just an annoying "oddilty". It's only when you fix the problem, or drive another well soprted 928 that you realise "somethin' aint quite right with my car" :-)

On a serious note the all white CHP is doing "traffic enforcement" on Lucas Valley.

My brother inlaw who is a firefighter at Skywalker talked to the officer the other day and said CHP will be doing this for a while along with the Sheriff's dept.
