how to remove Boot opener **** & Tool cover fastness
I am in the process of re upholstering my entire car but stuck with followings:
1.Boot opener **** – this is the **** located next to the hand brake that opens the boot remotely. How do you take it completely out from the housing? I unscrewed it so that both top and bottom parts are loose but it would not completely separate.
2.Two plastic arrow shaped fastness located on the Tool cover. I need to remove them completely off the Tool cover? How do I do it?
Thanks
Chamilka

to remove the hatch release pull up on the **** and insert a drill bit into the shaft, there is a small hole , then unscrew the **** it unscrews off Lefty loosey.
Also to remove the wire connectors to the pull switch simply pull the plastic portion of the connector back this releases the internal lock on the connector.
To remove the tool tray ***** pry off the plastic washers on the back side of the tray, they are a simple press fit over the barbs and then there is a small ridge that the washer is captured with

The brake sensor completes a circuit to keep the pad wear indicator light OFF. when the pads wear the sensor contacts the rotor and waers through the wire breaking the circuit. You will need to replace any sensors that have contacted the disc and worn enough to break the wire in the sensor. you should be able to use a multi meter to check for continuity between the leads of the sensor. if there is no continuety the sensor will need to be replaced.
