Me likey. One of my favorite color combos, and nicely outfitted for the enthusiast.

Cool! 5-speed and sports seats, how often do we see that combination in a GTS?

What's involved in getting a Canada-spec car imported to US? Did Porsche certify Canadian cars to also meet US requirements or is there a lot of hoo-haa to go through getting one across the border?

 

They meet the requirements, but the big thing is the tax man in the US wants the gas gussler tax when you bring it over. I have heard that some have found a way around it, but I am not sure how to go about that.

Someone mentioned on here about a month ago when I posted a nice CDN 90 GT for sale that they inquired and it was subject to $4500 gas guzzler tax!

 

What a rip off!!! Over taxation at it's very finest and purest form. A gas guzzler tax on a 16 yr old 20-mile per gallon car.

 

ALL CANADIAN CARS ARE NORTH AMERICAN CARS AND HAVE ALL OF THE US REQUIREMENTS ...THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS THE SPEEDO AND FULL TIME RUNNING LIGHTS..
