Well, I just called a local place that from what I've heard, does very good work. He quoted me "about $500" to strip the old intake components and do 1 coat of powder. That seems outrageous to me....he said he new exactly what parts I was referring to and that he had done them before....can anyone weigh in on that price? From what I've read here that price is very high.
Painting is starting to look a lot better. I'm not cheap by any means, and have no problem spending the money if the results are good. However, if I can get the same type of result by painting and it will be a fraction of the cost, well...
On a side note, does anyone know of a good abrasive blaster on Long Island?
