Isn't 70,000 OZ dollars like a billion u.s. dollars? Why no pictures of the car with the top down? Nice interior color though.

It's listed as an 86, but has 87+ bumpers and a 16V engine. Weird.

Jurinek did the soft top conversion uses a Strosek body kit. Thus the S4 rear bumper and lights.

It claims its an 86 and the motor is the older 16 valve motor and the interior is older. In the discription it claimes it is the larger motor as well. Looks kind of wierd to me!

Its not first 16V Jurinek cabrio which is advertised with S4 info. There was another in UK eBay while back.

Why would anyone mount a speaker that far back on the door panel? For the backseat passengers?

I can understand the high price, to recreate one of these convertibles would be impossible, unless you had a sawzall or a torch.

Enzo! (w00t! my first)

Same car has been on Ebay almost continuously since the posting of this thread a few months ago:

https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...ble-in-oz.html

The ebay dealer also has a Gemballa for sale too with the really old Albrex supercharger setup.

Also, Ian928 in Norway posted some larger photos of the convertible back in April before it went on sale, from a Porsche Club Western Australia concours for the curious:

Thumbs down

As far as I am concerned, a 928 without a roof is as good as junk. It flexes like a butter.

Apparately thats where most of the money went on the convert...into strenthening up the floor...something about honeycombing it.

Wait... but don't you have to swap the rear quarter panels in order for the later style bumper and lights to fit? ...Or, did Strosek make a rear bumper to fit the OB style which can house the later taillights?
