Actually my wife would agree with that. She calls ours the "beast" & doesn't like driving it around town. Freeway is a different story.

Fact is,
In the 1980's the 928 was the doc's wife's car.

Why?
This is just my opinion, so please don't take it personally, but I feel TV has just become a gateway for filth into our homes.
My wife and I just use Netflix which we are able to download movies we choose onto our television. We can also download certain tv shows we enjoy. It's nice to be able to control what comes into the house.
Plus, I loathe commercials.

Ha, just kicked the slingbox on and started a recording on the DVR. Thanks for the headsup.

Agree totally. My big screen tv sits quietly since the conversion to digital a few months ago, and I miss it not at all. I won't spend the $40 for a converter box, and can't justify cable because I'll spend too much time watching the Discovery channel and not working, and I simply watch a Netflix movie once in awhile. I'm a happy camper now. I don't need a shrink anymore.
I read more. Life has improved since the death of regular tv.

When I'm on the road and in a motel overnight, that's another matter altogether. But they usually have the Discovery channel.
