Sounds like good times! Glad to see another one staying on the road.

Nice save - any word from the previous owner why it was left in the field in the first place?

I’ll ask my brother to take a few pics. The final waxing and respray of the right fender won’t happen for another week or so but essentially the car looks the same, only much cleaner, than on Ted’s pics. And now has a hood badge (spare from the parts car)

However, today, it went in for an emission test and a safety inspection to get permanent plates for it. Amazingly it passed both. I couldn’t believe it!!!! The e-test was close on the 40km/h readings as the air pump was disconnected by the PO. I’ve quickly looked at it when the timing belt was checked and the air pump is seized up. BUT, just like the MAF, I have a spare from the parts car and will install it in two years.
For the safety, I’ve spent majority of last night changing out all the burnt exterior bulbs and re ran the ground for the passenger headlight. Otherwise the two days of driving totally cleaned up the rotors and since the pads were still fairly new, it passed without any issues.

Nice how all the parts needed were from the parts car or spare stuff randomly laying around or from working on cars for years. Essentially, we didn’t spend any money on any of these repairs/fixes……..$0.00
