Actually you will have 2 and the pedal will damn near hit the floor before they do anything. The reason for this is that as the rotor explodes it will take the majority of the pad material if not the whole pad right out of the rotor. When that happens then the pistons pop out of the caliper draining all the fluid for that part of the master cylinder rendering the other side useless.

But you do not need to worry about that happening with these rotors.
