Filled her up with gas for the first time in over 2 years :)
I'm finally driving it!
After purchasing it with a known TBF motor about 2 years ago I have put about 50 kms on it I am happy
A quick recap...I replaced the motor with a motor I found on ebay. It had only 27K miles on it. Of course I had to refresh and powder coated everything. I make it sound so simple...pull the old motor, drop in the new one and presto...you're on the road in a weekend. I lost count of all the little hiccups that came up. Isn't the human mind wonderful...we minimize the not so good and remember the really good.
Roger...thanks for everything including the parts.
I pulled the entire interior and had almost all of it recovered in leather. She has the much desired, and very sexy, grey-green interior colour (Ryan's favorite ). That included the dash, pod, console doors, front and back seats, steering wheel and the t-shifter. I commend Rob Budd.
I upgraded the entire sound system, added an x-pipe, and serviced the transmission. I did so much more but I won't bore you.
Couldn't have done it without help from so many on Rennlist...Sincerely, thanks for your patience.
She runs great, starts every time and even the damn headlights retract...Yes Sir, I am a happy man!
