Ali,
Between 928 International, 928 Specialists and little O'l me a lot of Laso pumps have been sold in the last 6 to 8 months as we have basically stopped selling rebiulds.
Taking into acount both the early and late pumps about 2 to 5 per week on average for myself.

Greg,
I meant to repond back on the Laso situation and your failure.
MD of Laso read your thread and as you were taking it up with your supplier on a legal basis decided he needed to deal with SSF as you would be sending the pump back to them.

Maybe not a good idea, but rebuild kits are available.

I would not assume this. Read the fine print. Most replacement parts, new or otherwise have a liability disclaimer that limits manufacturer's liability to the cost of the replacement part. They are not going to buy you a new block. Or the labor.

Steve is correct the fine print on the invoice states that when you carry out a part from the dealer you accept that should it fail the most they will do is exchange the defective part for another....... How ever if the DEALER installs the part the DEALER will cover the labor to replace the part. Those blanket disclaimers may not hold up in court but finding out is often not cheap
