Drivers Edge, teen driving program
Free open to all 21 and under with at least a permit. Its a nice half day program of car information, safety, and driving skills. They take donations, but its free paid by half a dozen sponsors, and isn't much on the selling side, but brand names are clearly displayed.
Starts with Donuts and registration.
Slide show and pep talk.
Divide into I think 3 groups.
Driving skills, braking with ABS, changing lanes, wet track skid recovery.
More talks including a couple CHP guys answering questions.
Detailed walk around on fluids and pressures and how to check.
Registration for upcoming Los Angeles and San Diego location WED 6pm.

This is great!!! Our 16 year old grand daughter just moved in with us
and she got her license while living in Vegas. I sounds like the perfect program for her. Does the registration begin this Wednesday?? Thanks again and I hope I can get her registered.

They run across the whole country, March to November, its been going on a few years. Looks like the end of the schedule, register as soon as they let you (apparently Wed for LA/SD).

I think thats a great program for every new (newer) driver.
Make sure they teach them how to get out of the fast lane when someone is coming up behind them!

NO SH*T SEAN! Are we the only people who know that the far left lane is only for passing or going really, really fast? Then they stare at you like a moron when you flash your brights out of courtesy to PLEASE MOVE OVER!
