Boy, didn't realize it was already time for the show. We need to get intouch with whitesands, ricer, and several others that live near and let them know.

I will be in that area for vacation around that time and would love to check it out. I wont, however, be in my porsche, since I need the room for the wife and gear haha.
I put the location in my Tom Tom, so I am ready.

I will be there in my blacked out 07 tacoma with the misses, we will be driving up from Pensacola Beach area. I can bring a pic of my car but unfortunately, coolers full of fish wont fit in the porsche too well (like I would put them in there anyway haha). I hope to meet you guys there and chat for a few.

I just left there from vacation last week, ARGH! Vacation adjustment for next year is due.
Next year I will absolutely, positively be there in my 928. It looks like a great show that I know is operated by some great folks for a good cause.

Well, the show was a success, though many of the cars we had hoped to see, didn't show, due to the possibility of rain. We had a brief shower at around noon but other than that it was a beautiful day. Only a few 928s. An 88 S4 owned by "Alabama Charlie" was interesting with his Orange Cup 1 wheels an Chin Spoiler. I mentioned perhaps adding GTS mirrors in orange as well to finish the look. The star of the show without a doubt was a SL65 Black, quite a machine.

A few more shots...Dave Smith of Smith Motorworks hired a professional film and photography crew for the event. So better photos should be available soon. We had a fun run from Panama City Beach to Destin before the show. I am happy to report that my old 928 can keep up with some more modern machinery. I passed a friend when he slowed down in a 996 turbo at 140mph. He was impressed. Said the 928 sounded "incredible" So that put a smile on my face.

I am disappointed. No pics of my car?!? I mean, I know you love 928s and all, but come on! We forgot our camera, dang it. But I was there. My tag says "MY993". You know, in case I forget what kind of car it is. Ha!
Sorry Matt that I did not realize that the silver was yours until after I got back from the show. At the time that you sent it, I was already on the road heading to Sandestin from Navarre. Sigh. We plan to show up every year, so I'm sure eventually we'll all meet up. Maybe we should caravan in next time? And maybe I'll have painted the front end of my car by then -- it's got a fair dose of rock chips, but it looks real nice from behind! Ha!
