Default Panamera Video - Damn! Sounds like a 928

Looks like this just came out. Shots look like they are in Monterey, CA.

Turn the sound on your speakers.

At 2:14 he says 'we made the console high to go around the transmission and related driveline parts.....'

I thought it had a transaxle like the 928.

Come on, know what you're selling bro.

It's not new, but when was the last time you walked into a toyota dealership with a sample piece of leather and came out with it upholstering your new car?

4S = 4WD => transaxle and front diff components presumably via a secondary drive shaft - don't know if they really located them there..

Panamera transmission is in the front/middle of the car, not in the rear as in the 928.

Strangely, the sound is more like a lawnmower to me. That might be because of the speakers I have in my notebook.

Take a look at at this video and tell me that, as a 928 owner, you don't get a sense of watching a child grow up before your eyes...

I haven't been a Panamera fan based on the pictures, but seeing it in motion and hearing the sounds it makes... Wow! I must say it moved me.

Looks like a squat version of the Cayenne...I for one REALLY do not like this. I know a station wagon when I see one. This may end up the worse thing Porsche has done ever sales wise. Who is going to buy this? Just my opinion....

If it were a 2 door and the roof line more swept then...I would likey...but they didn't ask me.

Yup... Monterey is crawling with em'. The local Porsche dealership is allowing just about anyone to take a test drive. I was out at the track [Laguna Seca] all day today and Porsche/Porsche Motorsports has half a dozen on site.

One of the pace cars is a Panamera. It sounds very nice a full tilt. Oddly enough, it seems to handle relatively well for being so large.

The steering wheel and seats kinda remind me of the OB components.

What do you think that luggage costs?

The seats didn't jump out at me, but yes, the steering wheel definitely had an OB look to it.
