The poster of the CL ad apparently didn't factor in age & maintenance like a spark plug; plug wire; bad injector... on the cylinder that was dead... pretty common and easy fix you'd think.

1982 it should be a 3 spd auto, and like it or not in Calif the seller pays for the cost of it passing smog, AND he is asking $1500 for it, try that on some other 27 year of POS.

Dunno, look at all the attention his ad is getting. Considering condition etc $500 is closer to what I would expect to pay for it, so it might actually be a very clever ad that nets him more than the simple statement of the facts.
