Thanks. It is in incredible condition. Unfortunately I have no service records to show it but it appears that it has been meticulously maintained. I know that will be a deal breaker for some but I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. Everything works and from what I've seen, that's pretty rare.
Jarrod. It would look great parked next to yours. I wish you could make it happen because I know it would be in good hands if it were yours. I'll even deliver it to you personally at the 928 OCIC.

WOW !!
A Marine blue GT to match my 88 Red S4 ! Great Idea ...could not possibly pull that off these days, but one can dream. Good luck. I am sure that someone will jump soon. Hope one of the RL folks can find a way to keep her in the fold. She is again a great example of why we all love these cars. I had been thinking about 928's since way before any movie ever featured one. You are really a true diehard shark guru !! Kevin

Mike,
I put a bid in. But your "no records" does hurt the overall price. What have you done to the car?

I know the lack of records hurts and it drives me nuts that I can't find the previous owner to get more info. I found out that the previous owner (prior to the dealer I purchased it from) was Gordon Sparkes. You can see him and the car on Phil Tong's 928S4VR web page listed under Sterling's car. I've tried getting in touch with Mr. Sparkes but haven't had any luck. If anyone knows him or how to get in touch with him, please let me know.
Given its condition, if I had records to go with it, the BIN and reserve would be a little bit higher.
Since I've had it I've replaced the LH brain, changed the oil with Mobil 1, flushed the coolant system and refilled with Zerex G-05. That's about it. The timing belt looks good but I can't guess how many miles or years it may have on it.

My wife can drive MT's although she's afraid of the 928, she's not used to heavy controls and the instant torque. I guess thats ok with me
Carl you should show your car, it is one of the best maintained 928's out there and your iteration improves upon the factory stock appearance. I don't think I will be winning any shows with the GT, I've seen some incredible restorations of 944's which blow the doors off of my car as far as condition is concerned.
