Surely, Afshin, you've got something you can sell to get this one
If you really have to sell it, then I think you should be pleased. $16k+ for a 110k no-records 928 in this economy is a strong price IMO.

Maybe the emotion should be trepidation.. I noticed the new bidder is almost 2 grand higher than the last serious bid and the new one only has a feedback of (2) usually, that is a troubling sign...fishing the reserve. Just sayin'

With eBay, there's always that risk. I've had pretty good luck with it so far though. I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens. Stay tuned.

My GT sold to a bidder with a score of 2, someone else that bid on the S4 had a score of 17. Some people just dont use Ebay like us.
Also dont be worried by people that dont have ebay feedback thats recent, in my experience it hasnt made a difference. The big fish dont shop on Ebay, only for cars, if you want good money for the car then you will likely be getting a winning bid from someone with a low feedback score. Thats hows its worked with me and i can see why now.

That's been my experience as well. The guy who bought my Linen 90 S4 back in 2007 has one feedback and that's from me. The transaction went through without a hitch.

Why not message the bidder and see if they have any questions, make sure its ok with his mom etc.?
Low feedback bidders do at least two bad things, fail to complete the purchase, stop serious bidders from bidding as high as they would if they were sure the other bidder was "real". When I see zero or low feedback as the high bidder I frequently don't bid, and wait for the deal to fall through and make an offer.

That is exactly what happened with this 928 a couple months ago.

Willhoit ended up buying it for $25,500 after the supposed $33,900 buyer fell through. He then had it listed on his website and Ebay for $36,900. Not sure what he ended up getting for it, but it is no longer on his website.
