A few days I posted about the pressure damper on the 928. I had the car on a lift and stripped a bolt. Well I don't believe the new problem is related but yesterday I was taking the car out when about a quarter mile down the road I started to hear what seemed like metal on metal comming from the transmission. I immediately went into neutral and the sound stopped. I had the get the car home so I manually shifted from 1st and 2nd with no problems. I tried Drive one more time and the noise came back. What is going on...

* I checked the fluid while the transmission was hot on the lift and it was fine.
