Default Help! 1980 Porsche 928 Euro S Wiring Diagram Needed!

Hello everyone, I am in desperate need of a wiring diagram/schematic for my 1980 Porsche 928S Euro 300hp car. I am having some ignition problems and need to go through the complete system. I can't seem to find any wiring diagrams. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again!

Only US version is commonly available. Using it together with '79 MY US version might help.

Long time ago there was project going on to have UK WSM scanned and to be included into Morehouse PDF collection. Did anything came out of it? It would be great to at least have '80-86 MY wiring diagrams available as in those years ROW models are furthest away from US version.

anything would be helpful even the us diagrams and different year 928 like 1980-1983. they might be similiar. I am pulling my hairs out with this one. The PO did a bunch of wiring rig jobs instead of fixing things right so I am trying to undo all of those and fix a no start ignition situation.
Thanks

The '80 S wiring is the same as a US '78 or '79

After much searching in the internet, I found a website that has all models of porsches with wiring diagrams and workshop manuals for free on pdf. Here is the link: http://www.cannell.co.uk/Manuals.htm

In my wiring diagram set from Jim Morehouse the only US/Euro differences were in a few years one or two diagrams like body and lamps would have US and Euro separate, everything thing else would just have some small section with a dashed line and some kind of model designation related to it.

Are there different part numbers for the wiring harnesses?

Any known wiring differences?

'78-79 and '87-95 are practically the same as engine management is same. '80-86 are somewhat different. Especially '80-83 as ROW cars still use K-Jet.

I need some help with a 79 euro that I have gage cluster light problems. In tracing it down I got it to check out down to the path to ground from the cluster. It is not just a simple ground problem, which I hear are common in 928’s. My problem is compounded in that unfortunately the only current flow diagram I have is for a type USA model 79. I don’t know if this diagram is correct for the euro model. Is the euro the same as the USA model in this area? If so it would seem that there is a open wire in the bundle based on the USA diagram.

Welcome. I would appreciate it if I could have the wiring diagram as well. I see an old post, but maybe it's still available.

+1, am working on an '81 Euro S and there are a number of differences between it and the '81 USA current flow diagrams. I have spent a bunch of time looking through all the wiring diagram and current flow diagrams but have never seen Euro/ROW-specific diagrams for these '80-83 M28.11/12 and '84-86 M28.21/22 cars.

it's amazing how different these cars actually can be. I searched a while for a Euro wiring diagram and came up empty. I found that my 80 Euro S was part 79, part 80 and a little bit of neither one
