Thanks Mike for organizing. Don't forget to tell your wife the potato salad was very good.
Thanks Adam for your hospitality. I'm going look into a lift.
Thanks Steve for letting us crawl all over your 928.
And thanks Roger for the door prizes. Very Cool!
Tony thanks coming. You're the Sharkmaster General of the northeast, I can't wait for the next event. That trip to PA sounded cool and I'm looking forward to a trip to the 'strip' and the next dyno day. (The wife says thanks for the compliment, anytime).

Gotta love that. I did tell them that I happen to know the effects of putting in a chip with the wrong orientation from personal experience, but we didn't have that problem Saturday.
I get that feeling of steering with the back wheels with my '86.5 auto, too. The chips and higher fuel pressure really do wake up the 'slush-box' at low rpms. I remember when I installed the X-pipe, way back when. It made better numbers on the dyno, but didn't change the off-idle thrust much. Now, it's not a matter of if I can spin the 265s from a stoplight, it's how far down the block do I want to spin them.
Stab it and steer!
Can anyone tell me from the pictures how many Porken products were used in this transformation? (besides Ken)
Big thanks to Mike and Adam for setting up and hosting the event and sharing their knowledge of the 928Good to meet all and put some faces to the names.
