Here's my Zirgo....but I'd recommend buying a different brand.

Pusher fans are always a challenge. Add the shrouding they need to be efficient, and you block noemal airflow a lot when the car is moving. You have to manage your expectations for those. Meanwhile, the Mistique/Contour option looks good. I remember Bernie posting about that fit several years ago now. That would be a no-brainer update for a failing mechanical fan, if you didn't want to fix the original.

FYI, I just installed a Wahler 75/83 version today (951.606.481.00) and the Middle Pin is not the Ground.

Pins are labeled "+" (ground) "1"(75), then "2"(83) in that order and verified on Jeannie's stove :-)

All of our 78-86 SharkBlade Fan Kits now use this switch instead of a temp probe thanks to Hammer!

Thanks again Hammer!

Just pointing out that I just ran this part number through our parts supplier system we have here at work, and the above number now comes up as a BEHR 92/102C switch. So before you go ordering one, you may want to confirm that it's indeed the temp range you are after.

The Wahler #'s now, as I can find them at least through my shop are:

Wahler 251 959 481 75 75-70/82-77c; 3 Point 75/82 Degree
Wahler 251 959 481 K 85-74/93-82c; 3 Point 85/93 Degree
Wahler 191 959 481 C 95-84/102-91c; 3 Point 95/102 Degree

Just thought I'd update for anyone else that may be putting electric fans in to replace the belt driven one, and wanted to use the existing switch location.

Default supercharge temp

Hi David
This is Tien from Taiwan,I am interesting to buy the supercharge kit from Murf, before I buy it, I have to make sure the temp will not be a problem, since you have change to 16" fan, how is your engine temp normal and out side temp is???
Because Taiwan is very hot, our summer will go up to 37~40 C in hot day.
Sorry to ask such a question, I hope you can help me and give me some idea.
Thanks!

To date I have tried two Zirgo Fans and on one the shaft striped apart from the blade (this one being their Ultra HP model) and the other was a puller design that was not that high rated to begin with.

I have moved on to Spal hoping for better results, but am always open for new and better options.

The Spal (pt. # 30102047) is a pusher design and seems to move more air than the Ultra Zirgo. (spec. reads 20amps at full draw) I have only had the Spal installed for a couple of weeks now and its doing a fairly good job of keeping temps. down in very hot weather.
