Default Video: Runs Rough... but it runs!!!

Figured I would post a quick video on my 80' ROW that finally is up and running. As you can see, it runs a bit rough... but considering it didn't run at all until recently, I'm happy with progress. New vacuum lines are definitely in order. Hopefully that remedies the slow acceleration. [sounds like a vacuum leak from within the cabin].

John-

Great job on the progress! Sounds like you have some sticking tappets, pretty normal for a car that has been sitting for a while. They will un-stick once you're able to giver her a good run.

Now get out and drive her

I'll try to remember to get my vids loaded up there today and get some traffic on your site.

make sure all your fuel injectors are working. I had 2 that were stuck open after my car sat for 10 years. Sounds like you may have 1 or 2 that are closed. Also get a can of break cleaner. If you have any vacume leaks the engine will rev when sprayed with break cleaner. Spray the heck out of your engine I bet you will find where your leaks are.

Thanks for the tips smudaaar. I have a new set of vacuum hoses, so I'll replace all of them at one time. I'll check all the injectors for proper function when I pull the intake for the vacuum work.

SeanR, take your time in posting your vids. I still need to do some additional graphic work on the top banner....
