In Tulsa I have paid about $250 per head for a teardown, inspection, reseating the valves, cut the valves and resurface the heads (top and bottom). This was at a shop recommended by all of the Porsche mechanics.

Guessing 32v heads are about double the cost of 16v heads?

16v I tear down completely myself, but it seems a lot harder with the tools I use anyway to get the valves out of a 32v head, so I leave it to the head shop.

Not as I recall. I think I spent @$1k at the same local shop to have new springs and valves installed in 32v heads along with standard valve work. I provided the parts though so maybe 50% more?
