Default FS '85 short block. THICK wall for Stroker/Hybrid or Boost

Letting go of one of my spare 5.0L blocks. Complete with crank, balancer, oil pump, rods and pitons. Basically every thing south of the heads minus the water pump.

This is the thicker cylinder walled version from an 85 or 86. I will load pics of wall thickness measure on a digital caliper when I get home. Phone won't load pics... would make a great start for a stroker. Or a hybrid. Motor turns freely by hand. No scratches in cylinder walls, normal glazzing and carbon build up at top end of cylinders. Should work fine as is. Fly cut those pistons and build a hybrid cheap.

$500 plus shipping by your choice. I can crate it and deliver it free of charge to any pick up point near Pensacola or Mobile. Moving to a new house and just don't have room for or need of 2 extra "just in case" blocks.

If some one wants the block only I'll take $450 and take the crank, rods and psitons out to save you on shipping. I'm sure I can get $50 for those parts on ebay...

But wait.. there's more.. also:
I also have a nice set of '78 cams for $200 obo.
2 very straight 85 door panels. I painted the leather beige to match my interior but never got around to installing. Dual speaker and very straight on top edge where they normally warp. No carpet on bottom half. $100 for the pair plus shipping.
Pair of 79 euro heads, non s, duh $200 plus shipping. From running car with 70K on the clock.
78 intake with TB, cis injectors included. $100 plus shipping,
85 throtle body and elbow $75 plus shipping.
Strut brace, straight painted red metallic $50 plus shipping.
If I sell it I don't have to move it.

PM any questions or for my phone number.

Not about making money. Just need space. Plus it's a karma thing, many on Rennlist have helped me out the last few years, time to pay it forward.

Whatever happened to the one you promised to me over a year ago? How did you end up with an extra again? I just bought one yesterday from the northeast.

Just want to be clear, heads are not euro s large valve heads. They are from an early non-s euro. They are in great shape and off a running engine. Got your PM and responded. Thx

Shipping engines really isn't that expensive. I've sent short blocks from Detroit to Vegas for $150.
