Ken, I love this thing. You really made it look easy. You should really sell these things (so I don't just steal idea for my own car ).

Great work, it is far to nice to be a one off. I would by one without a second thought.

I like it.

I bought the materials to make one out of fiberglass but haven't got around to it yet. I really like what you've done here. How much does that thing weigh?

That's very cool. Kudos.

I'm concerned about driving it on the street. Your car looks pretty low and mine is, too. Making the splitter a separate piece from the tunnel part would make it easy to remove and replace. Maybe put it on for the track and hot dates.

Wow, I love it.

Simple and perfectly functional. The best ideas all look that way when they're done right (by someone else)

Guys,

Thanks for all of the kind words.

It weighs about 8 pounds total for those wondering about that. So far on the street it hasn't been an issue, even with speed bumps and getting in and out of the driveway. I think that if it was much longer I would have problems. My car is set at the minimum ride height. I did have to add to my trailer ramps.

I hadn't thought about building or selling these, but if someone needs some help or really wants to tempt me drop me a PM. I'm really way too busy in my day job to take on much.

I'm wondering if Mark Anderson is cooling his brakes from those Naca Ducts?

Again thanks !!!

That was the original plan but I am no longer doing that.

NACA ducts depend on laminar flow to work correctly. My guess is that there's just the slightest hint of turbulence in that boundary area between the lower face and the ground. Especially when the car is moving...

The picture of Marks splitter shows a part of the belly pan behind it. Is that the rear section of belly pan visible in the picture? In other words does Marks splitter fill the space that the front section of belly pan would normally cover?

It does look smaller than the belly pan on my car (shorter, front to rear)... maybe overlapped?
