Greg, your gonna love the fuel chip, the mid range torque (where most driving is done) is extremely fun. Its almost like a kid poking you to open it up all the time! good stuff!
Thanks, I appreciate it. +1 on the chip and FPR. Such a big difference for such a reasonable price (and very little labor). POWERED BY PORKEN

Your '85 is lookin pretty damn nice also. I was also thinking about the RadCov'r. I want to do one "upgrade" at a time to get the full effect of the mod. And from what you and Mike report I am looking forward to the chips.
What would we '85 '86ers do with out Porken?
Seriously, without Ken there would still be options for handling and obviously for forced induction, but Ken's mods and tweaks all add up to expose a lot of untapped potential from the early 32v cars.

Default Hey, where to get those

The Snorkel intake is designed and built by Kuhn Performance and it's supposed to be for the S4s. Tony had modified an S4 upper fan shroud to work with his application and I began with that.

The original setup was too long and was hitting the hood when it was closed. It was also not quite sealed around the ends of the tubes. I cut off about 3/8", modified the upper shroud, and added a spacer to make sure the tubes don't collapse, then I added some sealer and screws in order to make it air tight. The shortened tubes clear the hood also.

What do you think?

Does anyone know where I can buy this or something close to it looking to put filters in front similar to that. Thanks - feel free to text 973 930 6164 I hitting a dead end and this is not something that I can just make.
