What is the price of used S4/GT rear bumper cover versus a new GTS cover?

Hey Brett,

I highly recommend Borkowski Collision repair on Hague Rd… about a mile north of Euro Motorworks.

Check out there facility… they do amazing work:

Let me know if you need any help or want to do this on the cheap. We could have a bumper cover R&R party.

Is'nt there collapsible shocks behind the bumper/cover. If so what kind of condition are they in now?

The insurance company will want to have the plastic fixed (obviously). When you tell them plastic bumpers CAN'T be permanently repaired (they can't) they will go into detail about how great these guys are at what they do and promise a "lifetime warranty" against defects in the repair.

Don't accept the repair. Insist it gets replaced because before you got hit, you weren't driving around in a "repaired" car.

As a few other have already proved. plastic repairs don't hold up. I had Progressive Insurance (NOT recommended) total my first Z06 because they refused to replace the same rear bumper cover after it was cracked. Even if I had it repaired, I would have been back in the body shop once every two years getting that thing fixed. It is not worth the headache.

I wish you the best luck, if they won't replace it, contact a bad faith attorney.

Sorry Brett, that's always in the back of my mind when I'm in lots of close traffic.

Good luck, if I can help in any way, let me know.

If you decide to part the car out, I have first dibs on the wheels. jk

Sorry about the car. People tailgate too much these days.
