Default Thanks Louie!!!

The Louie Ott rear steroid drop links seemed to have done the trick!

I am psyched!

Took me about an hour and a half including repairing a factory locking lug nut (the hex on the lug had gotten buggered enough the lock would not slide off).

On my test track (a deserted local clover leaf on ramp) the car was a lot more balanced. Before it was pushing (understeering) at 55 mph around the 270. When I lifted the throttle it just kept pushing until the car slowed enough to quit. With the Steroids it didn't start coming loose until 60 mph. AND because the car is more balanced now it rotates when lifting the throttle. I was able to speed up some get into a 4 wheel drift and maintain 65 mph around the turn. That's 10 mph faster!!!

Besides the increased speed, it is a LOT more fun to throttle steer a 4 wheel drift around a corner that to wait for the exit understeering, or do the drift boy power oversteer thing.

As a note: the car already had the Blue Devek front sway bar, but only a stock rear sway bar.

certainly that devek bar up front was not helping... bigger bar up front makes for more understeer, bigger bar out back more oversteer. Had you unhooked the DEVEK bar when you were playing with it before to see if that helped? I can't remember. You were very methodical in getting the feel back! Glad you have it now!

I didn't completely disconnect the front bar, but I did adjust it much softer.

The lightening of the front bar probably made much of the improvement .... the whole car was leaning on the outside front wheel.

I thought Louie stopped making those units. I have a similar problem myself. Glad to hear there is a solution.
