If it were a 5-spd and different wheels....it would be perfect! Not too many non-sunroof S4's on this side of the pond. No rear air either.

Now on my watch list, not my personal radar (black AT), but looks pretty genuine. I wonder what the story is behind the sun roof delete, that was hard to do by 87.

Wow!! Never mind the wheels that is a nice car. If it were a 5 speed I would be really interested but the non-sunroof should sell that car. He would be better off putting the stock wheels back on it to bad he doesn't know that.

How much is a non sun roof car worth over a sunroof car?
All things being equal?

"This is a very well kept car by a non-smoking owner." - Those wheels suggest he had to be smoking something.

But. non-sunroof and no rear air would be very nice.

Depends on the buyer me I'd throw an extra $500-1000 for the non sun roof car if everything else was the same between 2 cars.
Of course if the non sun roof car was a color I didn't like I would take a sun roof so it really depends on the car for me. Complex enough?

It is really not a complex question for me, I just wonder how much of a premium some will pay for a clean roof line and a bit more head room.

I like the sunroof, and hate the hole cut in the roof at the same time.
Rebuilding mine was a adventure.

It makes me thankful, in fact.

I will be always thankful that the 928 guys got the good hole in the roof engineers instead of the Volvo and BMW hole in the roof, Civil engineer idiots who try to fill a hole in a roof that Volvo and BMW got, not that I have a problem with the Civil engineers that build sunroofs.

)o( with both , doubt it.

For me it is not about the head room, but the clean roof line.
I almost did it when I did the paint job, doing the roof now would not be a big deal at all as far as paint labor.

If any body here wins the car, I'll buy the wheels. I have my eye on an '84 Ford LTD that they will be the bomb on.

If you want, and want it bad, minimum $3k, hard to put an upper limit since there are so few in the USA. in newer models. At one time I think I would have paid about $6k more if I found the right car, but its never going to be Apples and Apples, and buying a 4th 928 is HIGHLY unlikely for me.

Downside is that many that want sunroof delete, also want a 5 spd.

Plus the biggy, most buyers do want the sunroof, just as most want an AT, its a niche within the already small number of potential 928 buyers. Only takes two to make an auction interesting though.

Noi rub strips either....

How much for a car with a sunroof delete? For me, because I can't fit in my car comfortably with the sunroof, the delete is worth $2500 (cost of cutting out the existing roof and replacing with the sunroof delete panel from Porsche).
