Without read receipt verification, email is just sending bits out into the ether.

Wonder what threads like these accomplishes.

I hate these threads, it does no one any good.
Just draws more lines between people and vendors.
Yes part was on back order. It took 3 weeks and many calls to find that out then 2 weeks later my card was charged and a ship date showed. Waited 2 more weeks no part. Tried to call many times and left many messages no return calls. Got lucky one day and talked to someone who said they had no idea why I was charged and would call me back with more information I asked many times that I would receive a call, nothing. Waited another week finally fired off an email saying to cancel order. I actully got a fast repsponse on that one saying order canceled and nothing more. I ordered 2 parts 1 was in stock 1 was not. Good customer service would have at least sent out the item they did have after 2 months.

I'm sure the wagons will circle but that's my honest experience. I try to spread my orders around to support the vendors but I'm no fool either.

I think people rely on emails a bit too much.

As others have said, call 928 Specialists and leave a message if you don't get Dave or Jeannie. I always get one of them when I call during their business hours, even if it's just to tell me to hang on.

I have had problems with email only correspondence with businesses/people in the past.

Hope you resolve your issue,

Call them BEFORE you post a beotch thread.

This IS NOT the 928 vendor complaint department.

Any time I have ordered parts and there was a partial shipment due to parts being back ordered it shows up as 0 on the shipped line.

I really doubt it was intentional on there part.
If I made a post every time I got a wrong part or something was backordered I would have a lot of posts.

Try this one on, one of the vendors I have been using for MB, Volvo and Saab for the last 15 years suddenly started sending me the wrong part every time, double parts, you name it, they did it.
I have to pay for the parts before I open the box to see if they are correct.

They closed the doors 2 weeks ago, and it is bad enough I have at least 5 grand worth of parts with no cars for them to go on, one of the parts they sent VIA UPS did not have a due amount on it, I have not way to pay the UPS guy if they show nothing is due and no way to return it.
I get a letter from a collections agency yesterday saying I have to pay for a rather expensive MB radiator that I can not return.

count your self lucky we have the vendors we have.
