The mid-engined v8 cars are the ones that hold value. The 12-cylinder cars have always depreciated like a shot out of a cannon aimed at the ground.

1. I can't get out of the car and walk away without pausing to look back at it.

2. I can drive it fast and furious for hours and walk away completely refreshed.

3. There's really no comparable car in looks, speed, handling, and comfort south of $80K.

It was my dream car when I was just a kid with a fresh license... and now I've got the resources to not only own one, but do something a little bit special under the hood without anyone being the wiser, including the state of California and my insurance company.

Ya gotta love that.

PS... official dyno numbers coming soon. Finally!

I can fit in it, I am big guy at 6 foot with a 54" chest. I can ride in the car comfortably not squished into a box. Plus the handling combined with the V8 growl got me. Its a great car that does a lot of things better than most. It makes me think Porsche combined the raw power and growl of a musclecar with the handling of a go-cart.

Actually based on the 16 years or so that I sold 928 parts many , many more former owners did not go back. Those in the cult are the exception. Good to remember that we WANT 928s we do not need them and wants are not logical or rational it is an emotion ! Just like love might make you run of to Argentina or something like that

people, being people, want new and different things, it is just the way it is, and often they feel remorse for giving up one thing to get another, like running of to Argentina.

It's just a bad *** MF- and a very rare sight on the road today. I haven't seen another one in a year since selling mine. It's just so Iconic- pretty much represents all that was cool about the 80's. I'll have a GTS someday.

When I drive from work to home...I have two choices...take the 3 mile route through town...or take the 10 mile route on twisties and skirt (quickly) around town. I do about half and half. Gas mileage is not the issue.
