Found my aircon leak
After rebuilding all the aircon hoses, replacing all the o-rings, installing a new drier and expansion valve, the system would not hold vacuum.
I could hear a leak at the bottom of the drier where it connects to the condensor.
The aluminum threads and sealing points weren't in great condition. But when I pulled it out to take a look, the hose on the condensor had a small crack that quickly crumbled into a big hole.
Looks like it is time for a new condensor.

ebay to the rescue
The aluminum is so brittle, the pipe pretty much just fell off. Found a brand new condensor on ebay and snagged it for a couple hundred bucks. Not going to say what my high bid was.
