Default Update! 1991 928 for sale Selling my 928 - It will be missed! PICS ADDED $15K

New Message: You folks have all been SUPER FANTASTIC- I have taken your prices and details into consideration and decided to sell it for $15,000. PLEASE IF SOMEONE IS SERIOUS-DON'T MISS IT- Its a super car that is in excellent condition and I would not hesitate to cross country in it tomorrow! Please feel free to call me at 717-898-9024 or email joe@fcgerlach.com. In about a weeks time i will ebay it or take it to a high end dealer in the neighborhood and park it on his lot. All keys, books, documentation from every single year, the valet keys, and original window sticker included.

The wheels shown just got back from the wheel shop, they were all straighted, repaired and refinished and are not included in the 15K. You will get the original- perfect d90's with 85% bridgestones!

thank you all- Joe Cat

Well anyhow as I know all you rennlists are sharp- You tell me what a releastic price for a 1991 S4 auto with 96K- White/ tan in VERY, Very good condition.

It has complete clean bill of health, No leaks, All major services were done within 3-5000 miles- Fully documented from day one and a almost perfect PPI (a/c did not make ice cubes). All books and keys and great bridgestone tires and a clean car fax? No dash Cracks

Be realistic and take into consideration the economy. Pictures to follow!

I love this stupid car- just don't use it enough to justify Having my wife and daughter having no garage space for the minivan

$12k to $18k is my guess, depending on what very very good is, and who is in the market for car like that and doesn't have all funds targeted at vacation etc. already.

I would hope $16k to $18k... but probably $15k to $17k in the current market would be ALL the money... Hate the thought of that.

John Whitmer at AIC Auto is in your neck of the woods. He is always looking for Very Good 928s.

Mini vans do not need garage space.

Does that mean you are not looking for wider seats anymore?

$15k seems realistic for the mileage, assuming your "very, very good" assessment would match a buyer's assessment.

Trust me from experience, there is nothing that you can replace for a minivan that makes the humiliation of driving one go away.

I opted for the dually crew cab 4x4, it still seats 5 plus plenty of storage (135 cubic feet) under the capped bed. BUT, the shark did stay! With a few mods the dually gets 18 mpg too.
The closest I will get to one of those vans is a pimped out MB ML320.

Take heart. I regretfully sold my 90 GT years ago. Now after a BoxsterS and 944 Turbo I am back in a 94 928 GTS and lovin' it. Great eventual trade up!

I'd have to say those price estimates are on the high side. Although the car should be worth upper-teens, fact is in this economy even incredibly well preserved S4 auto's are more in the low-teens for value.
