Default 85 Euro option codes C99

I recently bought a 85 Euro and the option code sticker has only C99
written on it followed by S on the far end of the option code area.
No other option codes are on the sticker.

Any idea what this code is? or why there is not any more.

Country destination C99 Special

My car is Special

What is so special about a car with a blank option sticker?

Why am I writing to myself?

Special as in meant for country which do not have its own code. Special as in has combination of parts that is different than any country specific setup. Either one is likely explanation. Lack of other listed option probably mean it does not have any optional extras.

Since you are writing to yourself, you should at least mention how sexy you are and how the women are always fighting over you. It will help build that super hero alter ego.

I think it means you should donate all the good parts from that car to help in the restoration of my '85 Euro!

Oh yeah, and my build sticker only has the C00 code, no other option codes listed. Must be a Euro thing.

According to this wesite C00 is for Germany and C99 is Special.

The car has full leather interior and heated seats so I know it has some options.

C00 reports it being configured with European emissions equipment.

C00 : Eurospec emissions

Wonder why Russell's Euro and my Euro "appear" to have just the Country Codes on the option sticker.
If C00 is for Germany and all other european countries have their own code (and emission standards).
I would think C00 means built for German emissions and therefore is the same as the destination.

Country Codes

C00 Germany
C02 Rest of USA (in 1991 became all of USA)
C03 California (until MY 1991)
C04 Puerto Rico
C05 France
C06 French colonies
C07 Italy
C08 Japan (LHD)
C09 Sweden
C10 Switzerland
C11 Austria
C12 Denmark
C13 Finland
C14 Taiwan
C15 Hong Kong
C16 UK
C17 British service personnel stationed in Germany
C18 UK
C18 Japan (RHD) from MY 1998
C19 Luxemburg
C20 Holland
C21 Norway
C22 Belgium
C23 Australia
C24 New Zealand
C26 Singapore
C26 South Africa from MY 1998
C27 Spain
C28 Greece
C31 Saudi Arabia
C32 Oman
C32 Arab Gulf States from MY 1998
C36 Canada
C45 Singapore
C66 USA (pre MY 1986)
C69 France (pre MY 1986)
C72 Switzerland (pre MY 1986)
C98 non-specific RHD production (Cyprus, etc)
C99 Special

You might want to call Porsche to see where the original distribution/sale point occurred for this car. Possibly a car destined for the Eastern block? Soviet Union? Possibly a special build for a specific customer?
