Default Length of hose from fuel rail to injector on L Jet

I got the replacement kit from 928 Intl but the hose is one piece meant for cutting into 8. I tried looking this up in PET but no luck. Anybody know this length in millimeters?

I just had them in my hand today. I can measure them tomorrow when I get to the shop if you're still unsure.

Orest, I am sorry I cannot answer your question for you. I did want to point out, for posterity, that I have had sets from 928 intl and 928s R Us. Rogers set was pre-cut, which was great. One less thing to deal with.

I just measured a set. 1.75" per tube. I'm too lazy to convert that to metric for you.

From the responses the range is between 45-50 mm. I think the plus/minus of 5 mm is within spec. Thanks so much for the posts and especially Landseer for his pic of precision hose cutting. I will try to make do with steady hands and a razor blade across a cutting board.

That the easy way and just as effective.
I can't see those little itty bitty markings on the tape measure, so I cut them all at 2 inches. As long as they are all even, they work just fine.

Razor blade works, but I had ragged edges on the first car, so was experimenting with the tubing cutter and used a heavy aluminum pen as a liner. Worked nice with a new circular blade, but took longer.

I know I used a few blades so they stayed sharp.

Uhmmmm Chris,
I realize having multiple 928's "cuts into" your expenditures, but buying new razor blades help.

FYI, I just measured some brand new in the package Genuine Porsche replacement hoses and they are 42.25mm long.
